History

Established in 1998, edict egaming GmbH is an online gaming platform service provider in the B2B sector, and is particularly specialised in the development and technical operation of online casino solutions and system platforms for the gaming sector. All edict egaming products (Turnkey Solution, Casino Solution, Game Solution) are developed on the basis of the newest technology, taking into consideration current knowledge in the areas of player security, money laundering, age verification, payment and transactional security, and are individually tailored to the needs and requirements of the customer.

Until the amendment of the German Interstate Gambling Treaty in 2008 edict egaming was the only licensed, legal provider of online casino solutions in Germany and successfully developed and technically operated the online casino systems for Wiesbaden and Hamburg.

In the spring of 2008, the edict GmbH was acquired to 100% by Mercury Interactive GmbH, a subsidiary of Gauselmann group.
